As our Manger of Mobile Applications Development, you will lead and grow a team responsible for creating new mobile experiences for our clients, across our entire suite of IT Operations software products. Responsible for our mobile software development team through design, development, and maintenance of our Android and iOS mobile solutions. Enabling depth and maturity in our software products; by creating effective, efficient, and easily accessible NinjaOne mobile user services and experiences. You collaborate across product development teams where mobile impact is key to our product growth. Work closely with our product managers, front end engineers and platform developers to identify and prioritize critical mobile features for your mobile development team’s delivery. You drive the development and delivery of mobile applications that extend the functionality and value of the NinjaOne platform to our users and clients.


Location- we are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and in one of the following states- TX, FL, CA, NC, OR, GA, KS. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL


What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead and grow a mobile development team- one that supports features across our suite of current software products as well as new upcoming products. Provide technical mobile development expertise and leadership, for your team’s successes.
  • Mobile Development- processes to improve application scalability, performance, and security. New features and rectify bugs in existing mobile applications. Implement user interfaces from wireframe models. Ensure best performance and user experience of mobile applications. Write clean, readable, testable “best-in-class” code.
  • Collaborate ensure alignment across Product, Back-end, Design, and other development teams


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Computer Science or other relevant technical engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading mobile development teams, with previous hands-on mobile development engineering experience as an member of a team. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mobile application environment.
  • Previous experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Expertise in implementing UI principles and best practices.
  • Experience leading a mobile development team in an Agile software development environment.
  • Previous experience in being responsible for constant code and system improvement by refactoring and thinking critically about the system.
  • Experience in providing constructive feedback on your team’s design choices, as well as enabling the team to think critically about their own work. 
  • Ability to supervise, train and mentor team members.
  • Able to lead and support a remote team.
